# 2 FREE Logic Puzzles for Beginners

I took quite a break from making logic puzzles but the draw was just too much. I thought I’d ease back into it by making really easy single matrix puzzles for beginners and offering them for FREE, because I love free and I know everyone does also. 1 puzzles uses 4 square (called 2×4) and the other 5 (called 2×5) but both are suitable for beginners. The theme revolves around what every child loves–pets. Hope your little ones have fun with this! Answers are included with brief explanations where needed.

Here are more puzzles that can be purchased:

These 2×4 puzzles are for very beginners with general themes kids would enjoy such as gift shops, petting zoos, and video games. {2×4 LINK HERE}

These 2×5 puzzles have a theme for every month. For example, February has Valentine’s Day, November has Thanksgiving, etc. {2×5 LINK HERE}

# Christmas / December Themed Logic Puzzles

Another fun set of logic puzzles to occupy students when they’re ready for vacation. The themes are Christmas oriented but appropriate for December days. Themes include humanitarian work (toy drives, fund raisers), fun stuff (reindeer games, decorating a gingerbread village) and presents (gag gifts, stockings). {{LINK TO STORE}}

NOTE: Levels are suggestions only.  A bright child can handle the more challenging puzzles. A student who is new to these puzzles might be more comfortable with a beginner level.

A great way to introduce these puzzles is to work together as a class or group, then gradually graduating to working with partners, the individually.

# Thanksgiving / November Logic Puzzles

Hello, and welcome to the  Prime and Pi blog. We have quite a few items in the works and are very excited to post them soon.

Our latest is this set of 8 LOGIC PUZZLES for November. These puzzles cover a variety of November themes such as Veterans Day, Black Friday, Fall crafts and, of course, Thanksgiving.

I hesitate to put age or grade level on any of these as I’ve discovered that it depends on the student and how familiar they are with this type of problem solving. All of these puzzles involve some skills in making inferences and deductive reasoning, so although these are on the easy side, knowledge of these skills are still helpful. The 2 puzzles below are the easiest puzzles in this set.

These bonus puzzles require a different way of thinking but they still challenge the mind. Of course, all these logic puzzles come with answer keys. This puzzle set can be  purchased HERE. Happy puzzling!

# Kids Clip Art

I’ll be the first to admit creating the clip art of these kids was a labor of love. I gave a lot of thought as to how I would dress them and style their hair and the details of their shoes and clothing were important to me. So I ended up spending a lot of time drawing every single detail. But in the end, I was very happy with how they came out. And more importantly, I realized I had a lot of fun creating them. It was like playing with dolls again. Set 1 is shown below (LINK to store).

Each child has 2 outfits and slightly different hairstyles. Color and black and white line art are included.
